Parterre

from SEED to BOTTLE

Parterre fragrances are the result of artistic inspiration, creative botany and the spirit of adventure. The key ingredients are grown at Parterre's 50 acre botanic estate, Keyneston Mill, in Dorset, England, where each year limited amounts of the finest oils are produced - rare, intense and infused with freshness - that capture the very essence of the English countryside.

The creative and experimental home of Parterre Fragrances, Keyneston Mill, is the largest private botanic gardens in England dedicated solely to aromatic and scented plants – over 2000 varieties in a 50-acre estate, all exclusively grown for inclusion in Parterre perfumes. Using these exceptional ingredients, a finite number of limited edition bottles of each perfume are crafted by Parterre's master perfumer, and it is the rarity of Parterre oils which dictate the quality (and thereby quantity) of Parterre's unique production runs.

"Our mission is to grow the most unusual plants we can source. Each plant is then trialled, harvested, and distilled on site. This process captures the very essence of each aromatic variety.”

David and Julia Bridger,
Parterre Co-Founders

The editions are numbered because each year produces a limited amount of the finest oils that form the key notes, and it is this that dictates the quantities. A finite number of bottles of each perfume being created from each distillation.
