Once again, Serge takes us back to his formative years with Participe Passé ("past participle"); in this case the participle, now long past, apparently being "schooled". Participe Passé is smell of the school desk, the resinous pine, of freshly sharpened pencils. Fortunately, we can leave the inspiration for this scent where it began, back in the 1950's. Caramel, pepper, cumin, leather, all combine to make this scent more than a memory box, a modern perfume in its own right, standing on its own feet, each component counterbalancing the others.
