The Nose

Absinthe, the green, highly intoxicating and even addictive spirit distilled from the wormwood plant, was illegal in France for over one hundred years because, indeed, it led, or was said to lead, to hysteria and "irresponsible behaviour". Which is why all the artist and writers at the turn of the century went mad (literally) for it! This creation (although secret in its true ingredients) is leafy green, sweet, herby, like Vermouth (also made from wormwood), almost hinting of lime leaves and white spirit. Powerful and strong (as a perfume extract it would typically be 20% to 30% oils to carrier), this is as intoxicating as its namesake. Dangerous. Delirious. Delightful.
