The idea of the first composition came from a legend according to which, during the period of tuberose bloom, young women, having been made vulnerable by the sensual smell of this heady flower, were locked away to avoid seduction from men. The imagination and creativity of Antonio were fired and set in motion the idea of a story divided into three scents, olfactory tomes of a poem dedicated to the moon.

According to Antonio, perfume is a passion that speaks of mystery, sensuality and seduction; he felt the moon was a natural expression of his idea of perfumery. The mystery of darkness into her hidden face, her white light that lights up the night and offers a new look to any shape, the symbolism that accompanies the moon in all cultures and religions, her changeable and ambiguous appearance are the elements that have influenced Antonio and his inspiration.

The third perfume of the "lunar" trilogy is Noir Obscur, ("Hidden Darkness"), an ode to the new moon when, hidden completely by shadow and totally black, it is but ever present, influencing our lives in a subtle but powerful way.Nuit Rouge is perhaps the more accessible of the three "lunar" scents - immediately familiar with tones of oranges and spice. But this wouldn't be an Antonio Alessandria creation if all you see is all you get. Rum Absolute and Leather speak of a darker power, ever present but obscured from sight.

All three fragrances in the trio are characterised by strong contrasts, opulent structures and leather notes. All the names start with the letter ‘N’, like the night. The concentration of the three fragrances is Eau de Parfum.
