We are in the ancient Kingdom of Sicily, or more specifically, outside the Santo Spirito church in Palermo at the Vesper Hour on Easter Monday in 1282 when the 20 year War of the (Sicilian) Vespers began (as celebrated in the Verdi opera, "I Vespri Siciliani"); a landscape of vespers and of hope...and not least hillsides of orange trees. The inspiration for novels, poems and songs (and as in this case, of euphoric fragrances). Silver, male, a fragrance evoking courage, pride and deep-rooted passions refined with hints of amber that give it a whole and overwhelming sensuality. The very best of Italian style.
