During a romantic trip to the Island of Mauritius, Camille Goutal was walking though an exotic garden at nightfall. She was captivated by the scents of this place, and was overcome with a desire to immortalize the scent of all the striking and secret white flowers. “Songes” means dream or reverie, and thus, the perfume’s name speaks of the bewitchment Camille felt in the realms of the mysterious and captivating Mauritian landscape.

Songes is perfect for a woman who is inspired by the exotic. She is an incurable romantic, sensual and feminine. She will be bewitched by this voluptuous fragrance, evocative of dreams and poetry. This exquisite “moon” bottle is a reference to the exotic scent of the flowers intensified at night.

    Ingredient note:
  • Tiare Flower is a type of gardenia from Tahiti, with a sweet and hypnotic fragrance that is utterly captivating;
  • Frangipani, also known as the Hawaiin Lei flower, is native to most warm tropical areas of the southern hemisphere. It is sometimes also called Champa in perfumery;
  • Olibanum is the old perfumery word for frankincense, taken from the Arabic 'al-labban' ('from milking'). This may alludes to the milky sap that hardens to form Frankincense 'tears'.
