Visiting the shop

Our health is very important to us right now, so for the safety of our staff and customers the shop is NOT OPEN until further notice. We'll be reviewing this decision regularly. However, we are open during business hours for telephone orders of both products and samples. For local customers we can deliver or you can collect. Our lines are also open during business hours for free TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS - just like a visit without the hassle - where we'll talk through your preferences and recommend some suggestions. A follow up sample service puts our ideas under your nose for evaluation in the comfort of your own home. Simply call 01395 579307 and talk to Jane.

Leading you by the nose...

Take a stroll back in time down Church Street in the heart of charming old Sidmouth and nestling gently opposite the fine 13th century church you’ll discover ‘Woodforde’s Perfumery, one of Sidmouth’s hidden treasures. Just to peep behind the Grade II listed facade is to enter an aladdin's cave...

A perfumery with a difference, Woodforde’s specializes in locating and importing some of the world’s most elusive (if not exclusive) fragrances from small, artisan, and (to the cogni-’scenti’) world-renowned historic perfumeries. Don’t expect Chanel, Guerlain, or any high street brands - these are ‘top end’ scents, so only around 150 women’s and 70 men’s fragrances can be found in stock.

Why not come and visit, let your nose loose for an hour or two, and see where the journey takes you?
